Q Awards 2009 - the fashion

27 October 2009
The Q Awards may be dedicated to the music industry, but that didn't stop a number of stars dressing up to the nines.

The bash, which took place in London yesterday (October 26th), saw a host of musical talent turn up in their finest.

Sophie Ellis Bextor cut a beautiful figure in a black, knee-length fitted piece, while Lily Allen also looked great in a white, free-flowing dress teamed with black footless tights.

Kate Nash looked a little bit more relaxed in a vintage t-shirt and brown cardigan and Amy Winehouse appeared curvy and healthy in a pink dress and black waist belt.

Singer Corrine Bailey Rae also looked a resplendent with a new long and flowing hair do which she teamed with a green belted dress.

Among the big winners at the event were the Arctic Monkeys, who picked up Best Live Act and Lady Gaga, who won Best Video for Just Dance, although neither were at the awards to pick up their prizes.
