Celebs enjoy Hair Magazine awards
30 September 2009
A large number of blonde celebrities were in attendance at the Hair Magazine awards in London last night.
Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost, music pundit Lauren Laverne, socialite and DJ Jodie Harsh and Donna Air were among the esteemed guests at the event.
Jodie, one of London's most popular cross-dressing DJs, made an extra special effort with her wig, taking inspiration from Amy Winehouse with a huge beehive.
Jenny Frost chose to give her dress a racier edge when she hitched it up part way through the event, turning it from a long-flowing gown to a flirty puffball number.
Singer VV Brown also made sure she was noticed by giving her hair a retro, rockabilly fringe.
VV has become something of a style smash since hitting the music scene and is often seen in outlandish outfits.
Hair is the UK's biggest selling hair magazine and regularly gives advice for new styles and top trends.
Richard, who attended the event, said: "It was a fantastic, glamorous evening celebrating the great and the good of the hairdressing industry.
"Unfortunately, I was unable to judge as I was filming at the time, so it was great that I was able to go along"
