Audrina Partridge has been photographed out and about with a brunette hair styling that features streaks of blonde at the front.

According to Look, this combination of blonde and brunette, or 'blondette' as they call it, could be just what the doctor ordered for people hoping to refresh their look with a new hair styling.

The star of the Hills should find that her new do affords her all the "flattering properties" of blonde but with a lot less maintenance, the lifestyle magazine claimed.

"Audrina Partridge's blondette hair is a great way for brunettes to go lighter without committing to blonde outright," it said.

The reality TV star first came to the public eye as one of the original members of the MTV reality TV show The Hills.

She is currently preparing to appear in her very own programme, The Audrina Show, which will begin next year, and recently broke into Hollywood with parts in the films Sorority Row and Into the Blue 2.
