28 September 2009
Accessories make an outfit - any fashionista knows that.
But what is on trend for the coming autumn and winter months?
According to Sam Ubhi, founder of a jewellery company of the same name, big and bold is the way forward.
"I love vintage jewellery and bags and I have been collecting for years so I take inspiration from that," he said.
"Pearls are popular, long pearls, but then again anything long and pretty does well."
He added that his personal favourite material were "odd" bits and pieces such as "bone and horn".
According to Mintel, the fashion accessories market increased in value by 4.7 per cent in 2008 to £1.05 billion
Many Brits now see accessories as key to their looks, with four in ten regarding them as 'very important' in a survey.
