Since hitting the celebrity circuit, Beth Ditto has become the darling of the fashion scene.

Now, the US-born rocker has decided that she wants a change and has dyed her dark hair a bright orange colour.

Beth, who has been in London performing at gigs, showed off the brightly-coloured do last night.

She has become well known for changing her hairstyle, opting for many different looks in the past year.

The star, who is the lead singer of the band Gossip, has managed to use her weight to her advantage, even creating a range of clothes for plus-size retailer Evans.

She has won a number of awards for her music, including the NME Coolest Person in Rock 2006 and the Glamour International Artist of the Year in 2008.

In 2007 she was nominated for Sexiest Woman of the Year, although she did not win.

She is not the first celebrity to dye their hair a shocking red colour recently, with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton also turning to the dye bottle for a new look.
